Organisational Development (OD) is the facilitation of organisational performance.

You can ‘facilitate’ performance in any number of ways – it just depends on what you’re trying to ‘fix’ or improve.

We know-it-all’s… well, know… that nothing occurs in a vacuum – ‘everything is connected.’ So, we aim to help you understand what your symptoms and ailments are related to and what aspects, processes, systems, etc. need to be looked at and improved.

For example, you want to ‘fix’ your performance management system. You may first look at the processes you have in place, but you’ll also need to look at …

  • business strategy (what are you trying to achieve with performance management?)
  • company values (what’s important?)
  • manager capability (how well do they set expectations? give feedback?)
  • employee engagement (will employees buy into a new system? what’s the history of performance management in your workplace?)
